Saving the World Through a Game

Shugo Gento, who has just retired, finds himself in urgent need of a large sum of money due to family circumstances. To earn it, he joins Melloworld, a virtual game that promises real-world profits. Inside the game, Shugo teams up with Ayana Himekawa, a popular streamer, and Hikaru Morioka, a wealthy player. The trio progresses smoothly at first, but gradually they begin to feel something is off about the game. As they investigate to uncover the truth behind Melloworld, a shocking revelation comes to light: the game's post-apocalyptic world is actually a vision of the real world's future. Worse yet, a god-like entity controlling the game is guiding humanity toward that grim destiny. Can they join forces to defeat this god and restore the world to its rightful path?
